The Brussels Jazz Orchestra, our favourite big band, will change its name to the ‘Bert Joris Orchestra’ for two evenings of live recordings. The earlier collaboration between the swing orchestra and the brilliant composer, arranger and trumpet player Bert Joris were a huge hit both here in Belgium and on the international jazz scene. This new collaboration between the complementary pair should be a mix of quick and swinging melodies!
