By combining harp, piano, guitar, percussion, saxophone, flute, violin, cello, and electronic music, bESIdES creates an alchemy of new tones and textures, and a unique musical experience. The ensemble’s repertoire consists of pieces written for this instrumental formation and pieces for free instrumentation. Ample space is also given to exploring composers through their creations.
The ensemble is currently continuing to perfect its skills with the Ictus Ensemble and the Spectra Ensemble in a post-Master’s focusing on contemporary chamber music at the Ghent Conservatory.
