Queen Elisabeth College Of Music
'Mozart Prelude'

Studio 4

Showtimes: 17 March 2010 - 20:00

A concert not to be missed, in the spirit of 'companionship' characteristic of the Queen Elisabeth College of Music. Three soloists in residence, accompanied by the Royal Chamber Orchestra of Wallonia directed by Augustin Dumay, will offer you their interpretation of the greatest of classical composers: Mozart.

As part of their preparation for the Queen Elisabeth Competition, two young pianists, the Belgian Stéphanie Proot and the Ukrainian Christia Hudziy, will play respectively the celebrated concertos no. 20 in D minor and no. 23 in A major, among the most beautiful and most difficult to interpret. You will also hear the young Russian tenor Yury Haradzetski, who took 5th prize in the Queen Elisabeth Competition 2008, accompanied by Augustin Dumay on violin, in the aria of Idamante from Idomeneo, Ré di Creta.

A master’s concert, a students’ concert: the gatherings of the Queen Elisabeth College of Music are always marked by excellence, emotion, and companionship.
