Throughout the 23 years during which it has been continuously exerting its activity, the group BCN216 has become a must in the music scene in Spain. Emerged in 1985, the result of the joint initiative of the composer and conductor Ernest Martinez Izquierdo and flutist David Albet, current artistic director of the ensemble. They are residents of Auditori in Barcelona, while recording and performing all over the world. They like to work with other art forms such as dance, theater or cinema.
