John Lasseter - USA -1999 - animation - color - 92' - OV
The same basic recipe as the first version, but this time the old-fashioned cowboy Buzz is embroiled with his own clones. The theme of legitimacy is handled with great effectiveness by the film’s scriptwriters in this film that was merely intended as a sequel for video release. The result is among Pixar’s best. John Lasseter has taken his familiar characters and given them sharper definition, creating a growing complicity with audiences.

Henri-Georges Clouzot - FR - 1960 - fiction - black & white - 127' - OV - STT FR / NL
A sombre, cynical tale of disaffected 1950s youth seen through the criminal trial of a young woman accused of her lover’s murder, and directed by Henri-Georges Clouzot. The lead prosecutor portrays the sultry rebel (played by Brigitte Bardot) as a monster of perversity. Her lawyer (Jean Gabin) attempts to draw a more subtle picture. Where’s the truth? It may well be absent from a trial recorded with great finesse by the director of the Diaboliques. Focusing on the charismatic Bardot, the film won the Oscar for Best Foreign Film in 1960
