l'enfer-de-clouzot.jpg
Movie from 22 July 2010 to 07 August 2010

'L’enfer d'Henri-Georges Clouzot' (Inferno)

Studio 5

Ruxandra Medrea / Serge Bromberg - FR – 2009 – documentaire – colour + b&w – 102’ – OV FR – STT NL

A tragedy about pathological jealousy, Henri-Georges Clouzot’s L’Enfer would have been a revolutionary film. In 1964, he was planning new visual effects to evoke the madness of the character played by Reggiani. The film was never made; conflicts on the set scuppered it. Serge Bromberg has brought the completed images to the screen, and they are even more outstanding than imagined with some splendid rushes featuring Romy Schneider.
