A tribute to Miriam Makeba and South African music with Tutu Puoane in the leading role. She grew up in South Africa and began her professional career in Johannesburg at the age of eighteen, later becoming one of the most substantial jazz singers of the Benelux.
The BJO and Tutu have chosen from the South African extensive repertoire. The songs have been reworked by a team of BJO arrangers to yield the unique BJO spirit: exciting and adventurous.
