The Academy Charles Cros was erected in 1947 by a group of critics and recording specialists. They award yearly prices to stimulate new young artists. Director Alain Fantapié will comment the Academy's vision on contemporary music together with Pierre Albert Castanet.

Debate around the film '8'

Film + debate: A collection of eight shorts each directed by a different film-maker of stature, the movie '8' concentrates on the humanitarian priorities as defined by the UN for the new millennium.  The debate will be on the theme 'La lutte contre la pauvreté ne peut pas marcher' (the fight against poverty is doomed to failure).
