'Johann Sebastian Bach and Domenico Scarlatti were both born in 1685. But while one composed music with an emphasis on colour, the latter experimented with different structures and forms. The mastery, the freedom and creativity that emit from the way both composers deal with playing and composing techniques, make sure their music remains a challenge for the performer, even three hundred years after their deaths.'
