Flagey Academy is a youth choir bringing together around fifty young singers from Brussels, aged 8 to 18, who are eager to fully commit to singing. Together, they explore a rich and varied repertoire, perform in concert, and experience powerful musical moments.
The choristers meet twice a week at Flagey for demanding and stimulating rehearsals. They regularly collaborate with other ensembles, sometimes of a very high level, and perform both on major stages and in Brussels schools, companies, or public spaces.
Flagey Academy is part of the continuity of the school choirs of the FARESI network, developed by Flagey, ReMuA, and Singing Molenbeek within primary schools in various Brussels municipalities. Children aged 6 to 12 discover singing at school and can, if they wish, continue their musical journey within Flagey Academy. This network reflects the social, cultural, and linguistic diversity of the city of Brussels.
Thanks to the generous support of sponsors and private foundations, the training offered by Flagey Academy is entirely free of charge, ensuring that the passion for singing remains accessible to everyone.
