Après un premier album solo remarqué, Voices of Bishara (2022), Tom Skinner revient à Flagey avec Kaleidoscopic Visions. Skinner a longtemps joué avec des groupes phares tels que Sons of Kemet et The Smile, le groupe formé autour du chanteur de Radiohead Thom Yorke et du guitariste Jonny Greenwood. Dans Kaleidoscopic Visions, il se penche sur sa vie à mi-parcours, y portant un regard à la fois rétrospectif et tourné vers l’avenir. En composant à la guitare, son deuxième instrument, il a développé un son méditatif unique – exploratoire, mais précis et ramené à l’essentiel.
