Four distinct voices from the international jazz scene join forces in ODDBLOKE: pianist Kit Downes (UK), saxophonist Ben Van Gelder (NL), bassist Phil Donkin (UK) and drummer Antoine Pierre (BE). Each of them is an acclaimed band leader and composer with a unique musical vision, from Downes’ poetic virtuosity on ECM to Van Gelder’s lyrical and visual playing style.
