Domeniche alla periferia dell'impero
Always adventurous, Musiques Nouvelles opens the Ars Musica Festival at Flagey with music by the Basque Spanish composer Ramon Lazkano. His three-part Egan is part of a cycle entitled Igeltsoen Laborategia (Laboratory of Chalks). Porous chalk stone is seen as a symbol of erosion by time, the composer’s central concern. We will also hear new work by Aurélien Dumont and Tim Gouverneur.
