Two women, the hardworking Polish model Anna Walentinovicz and director Lara Quaglia, face out to the Baltic sea. Every wave triggers a memory and Anna reminisces on her youth and the events that took her to the centre of Solidarność. In this exceptional film, Walentinovicz, Walesa and General Jaruzelski explain their roles in Gdansk in the 1980s. Was the socialist utopia subverted from within?
