Patolie's
Brussels Jazz Marathon
For The Patolie's, it all started in 1998. Patrick De Schuyter and Olivier Losseau, childhood friends and passionate about blues, gave their first concert in April 1998, together with Jean-François Assy (bass) and Jacques Le Texier (drums).
It was the start of an exciting adventure with many concerts and their debut at the Brussels Jazz Marathon (stage outdoor Place Ste-Catherine) in 1999. A CD with four tracks was released at the end of 1999, including Train to the frontline, which was very well received by Marc Ysaÿe. They gained the support of Radio 21, played at the Boogie Town Festival, again at the Jazz Marathon, played live during ‘Conviviale Poursuite’ (RTBF),...
The blues kept the group together and is always present during their concerts. But don’t be surprised by the many inspiring influences from rock, pop, or folk music!
