Hope and Glory

The story of the day to day life of a seven year old boy in a London ravaged by bombs, inspired by John Boorman’s own memories of childhood during the Second World War. He spent his days gleefully mixing among the fireworks, playing in the ruins and delighting in seeing his school set alight.
