Op zijn laatste album Birds Requiem laat de Tunesische zanger en oedspeler Dhafer Youssef de Arabische muziektraditie versmelten met hedendaagse jazz en rock. Een bedwelmende ontmoeting ergens tussen hemel en aarde, ondersteund door een betoverende, weergaloze stem.
