Derde album voor het eigenzinnige New-Yorkse trio van saxofonist Mark Turner, contrabassist Larry Grenadier en drummer Jeff Ballard. Na een eerste "self-titled" opus in 2004 en "Sky & Country" in 2009 kwam"Year of the snake" in 2012 uit, een album dat de luisteraar opnieuw zal verrassen met zijn innoverende aanpak.
