Ars Nova Copenhagen, one of the world’s most respected professional chamber choirs, is renowned for its crystal-clear sound and profound interpretations. Led by Sofi Jeannin, a conductor skilled in both early and contemporary music, the choir presents a programme focused on the spiritual works of Arvo Pärt, including I Am the True Vine and The Deer’s Cry. The programme also features Renaissance masterpieces by Giovanni Pierluigi da Palestrina and contemporary pieces by Baltic composers, including a Belgian premiere by Danish composer Mette Nielsen. The Guardian praised the choir as “a choir of exceptional clarity and emotional power.”
