Borrowed Fire

Every great composer inherits a spark. Some preserve it; others transform it into something entirely their own. In Borrowed Fire, Aleksey Shadrin, Yibai Chen and David Cohen journey through music shaped by the unique sounds, rhythms and traditions of Italy, Hungary, Romania and Spain—reimagined by some of the twentieth century’s most distinctive musical voices.
