For two years, Iskander Moon lived just around the corner from Flagey, secretly dreaming of one day playing there himself. On 18 December, that day arrives.
2026 was the year Iskander made a childhood dream come true. His debut album Salt Moon City came out in February, followed by sold-out release shows at AB and De Roma, and last summer he took to the Marquee stage at Pukkelpop.
For this concert, he returns to the essence: Iskander alone at the grand piano.
The classically trained pianist brings together two worlds that have both shaped him. Impressionistic compositions and tone colours that recall his great classical heroes, Bach and Debussy, strike up a liaison with catchy pop songs, with Paolo Nutini and Bon Iver among his references.
In Studio 1, Iskander will play stripped-back versions of songs from Salt Moon City and try out a number of new compositions.
This concert is organised in collaboration with Flagey in support of De Warmste Week and its solidarity campaign.
