Following the fall of Bashar al-Assad’s regime, Tawfik Sabouni brought together survivors from Saidnaya prison. Together, within the walls of the liberated prison, they pieced together their memories of the years that had been stolen from them. By speaking out, they bear witness on behalf of those who can no longer speak for themselves.
