The Sous-Entendu-e-s film club | In collaboration with Kinograph, the feminist collective Les Sous-Entendu.e.s will be screening documentaries and films, followed by a debate with guest speakers on themes relating to sexist and sexual violence and the representation of FINTA people (women, intersex people, non-binary people, trans people and agender people) on the big and small screens. From blockbuster films to documentaries, we'll be looking at them from a feminist and intersectional angle.
The feminist collective Les Sous-Entendu·e·s presents a programme of short films, carefully selected and curated by the collective.

This short film was born out of a militant desire to capture our reality: the almost euphoric joy of coming together as a small, united group, whilst not forgetting to show the inevitable and systemic repression of every action.
LES HUÎTRES - Maia Descamps - 23' - FR OV
At a hen party, Charlotte, aged 30, is reunited with long-standing friends she hasn’t seen for a long time. The euphoria of the reunion is mingled with apprehensions and unspoken truths. Charlotte has a secret she keeps painfully to herself. Just like the oysters these women are busy shucking, their tongues remain tight-lipped. But as the shells crack and their hands get scraped, the truth rises to the surface.
