Two of the world’s greatest pianists, Leif Ove Andsnes and Bertrand Chamayou, join forces to present a poetic and contrasting program built around Franz Schubert and György Kurtág. In tribute to Kurtág’s centenary in 2026, they perform a selection of his Játékok – miniatures filled with silence, playfulness, and sharp musical insight. Kurtág himself played these pieces for years alongside his wife Márta, alternating them with works by Johann Sebastian Bach. Andsnes and Chamayou continue this tradition with Franz Schubert: from the storminess of Lebensstürme to the tenderness of the Fantasie in F minor. A rare recital, full of poetry and subtle alchemy.
