The Queen Elisabeth Competition is recognised as one of the most prestigious and demanding music competitions in the world. For young violinists, pianists, singers and cellists aspiring to an international career, it serves as a true springboard. Remaining faithful to the project initiated by Eugène Ysaÿe and Queen Elisabeth, the Queen Elisabeth Competition continues to seek out complete musicians. What makes the Competition unique? A world-renowned jury, rigorous rules, unparalleled media coverage, and the warm enthusiasm of the Belgian public and the Royal Family.

In 2027, the human voice takes centre stage. For the eleventh time, the Queen Elisabeth Competition will welcome young singers from around the world. Their Competition journey begins at Flagey, where the first round will take place on Sunday 9 and Monday 10 May 2027, followed by the semi-final on Wednesday 12 and Thursday 13 May. On Wednesday 26 and Thursday 27 May, several laureates will return to Studio 4 to conclude their participation in the Competition with a joint recital.

Subscriptions for the first round and semi-final will go on sale on Tuesday 2 February 2027. Single tickets will be available from Tuesday 16 February 2027.
