Octave et Mélo

Octave et Mélo

Orchestre Philharmonique Royal de Liège, Adèle Molle | Junior 4+

Octave and Mélo are two little friends and musicians. On holiday in the mountains, they come across some music thrushes migrating towards the sea. They decide to join them by following the course of the river. To guide them, our two heroes meet an eagle, a woodpecker, a heron and seagulls, with whom they communicate by song! Based on the podcast of the same name created by Adèle Molle for Radio France, Les Aventures d'Octave et Mélo is aimed at children aged 4 and over. On stage, surrounded by around twenty musicians from the Orchestre Philharmonique Royal de Liège, Adèle speaks to young ears and tells a story that is both light and beautiful, soothing and lilting, bubbling and lively! Zoé Suliko, a musician and noisemaker, completes this joyful team, creating a whole range of live sound effects. It's a fabulous opportunity to introduce youngsters to a wide repertoire, from baroque to chanson to modern music, and to let them discover the extraordinary suggestive power of music and sound.
