Israel Fernández & Diego del Morao are the new flamenco dream couple of 2023. They complement each other like yin and yang: the soft, refined voice of Fernández is underpinned by the devilish rhythm of Del Morao, 'el numero 1' among aficionados.
As son and successor of the legendary Moraíto Chico, he carries on the guitar tradition of the gypsy dynasty of Morao with phenomenal brio. Fernández and del Morao, like the old masters, use their own personalities to subtly renew that tradition.
Together they bring flamenco up to date. For this occasion, they will be joined by none other than the 'Tina Turner' of flamenco: Tía Juana la del Pipa. Her raw cries, vocals, dance and stirring ‘jaleos’ make the concert into a veritable ‘Fiesta Gitana’.
