During this launch event, Peter Mertens will engage in conversation with a range of inspiring guests about his new book. The Last Days of the Old World (Agone Editions) is a vivid, incisive and hopeful account of a continent in crisis, examining the forces that fuel wars, monopolies and recurring crises. It also raises the question that will shape our future: do we leave it in the hands of monopolies, or do we build it ourselves?
