What could be more unexpected than the meeting of a cello and an accordion? A duo born in Namur that has gone on to conquer Venice, Luxembourg, Shanghai and Taipei. Through their creativity, modernity and virtuosity, Pierre Fontenelle and Frin Wolter have been surprising audiences for the past decade, exploring a borderless musical world where repertoires intersect, transform and reinvent themselves.

Winners of First Prize at the Concours International Accordé’Opale and named Coup de Cœur at the Royal Juillet Musical de Saint-Hubert, Duo Kiasma stands out for the freedom and boldness of its arrangements that are neither faithful transcriptions nor simple adaptations.
