The Oasis

In his own typical way, Brussels-based Ivan Tirtiaux sings parables and stories, alongside songs about nature and the hustles and bustles of life. The programme includes French songs drawing on folk, the work of Brassens, Nick Drake and Terry Callier, as well as the 'mélodies' of French composers Duparc, Berlioz and Fauré. For this occasion, Ivan Tirtiaux surrounds himself with eight musicians, including a string quartet, a percussionist and the electro composer Pierre Slinckx.
