Our competition rules

Article 1

The present general regulations apply to all competitions and promotional actions organised by the ASBL Flagey, whose registered office is located at rue du Belvédère 27/5 in 1050 Ixelles, registered with the Crossroads Bank for Enterprises under number BE 0476 091 737, hereinafter referred to as "Flagey".

By the simple fact of taking part in a competition or promotional action, the participant declares that he/she agrees to the application of these general regulations. In addition to these general rules, it is possible that special conditions may apply to contests or promotional actions.

Article 2

§1. The competitions are open to any natural person of full age, residing in Belgium, with the exception of members of Flagey's staff and members of their families, i.e. persons living in the same household, as well as all persons involved and intervening in these competitions (e.g. but without being exhaustive, a bailiffs agency and members of their staff and members of their families).

§2. Every participant is obliged to provide correct, complete and up-to-date information when taking part in the competitions. Flagey may ask the winner, before the prize is awarded, to provide proof of his or her identity and place of residence.

Article 3

Unless otherwise specified, each participant may participate as many times as he or she wishes.

Article 4

Only entries registered within the time limits defined by Flagey will be taken into account.

Article 5

§1. To win, one has to:

  • have answered all the questions in the contest;
  • fulfill all the conditions concerned by the contest;
  • fulfil all the conditions of these rules.

§2. Winners are notified, personally, by e-mail or by telephone.

In the absence of this information or failure to reach the winner, the prize will be awarded to the participant immediately after the winner.

Is presumed not to be reachable :

  • the person contacted by telephone whose first call is unanswered;
  • the person contacted by e-mail whose e-mail has remained unanswered for 48 hours from the time it was sent.

§3. Winnings are to be collected at Flagey's premises, by the winner himself/herself. If the winner is unable to visit Flagey's registered office address during the hours indicated by Flagey, the winner may give a third party the power of attorney to come and collect the winnings.

Article 6

In the event of a technical incident of any kind, and in particular if there is a suspicion of an attempt by a club or players' association to influence the results, Flagey will take the necessary measures to neutralise these effects, without invalidating the competitions.

In the event of abuse, deception or fraud, Flagey expressly reserves the right to exclude the participant(s) involved from this and/or other contests or promotional activities of Flagey.

Article 7

Flagey reserves the right to modify or cancel the competition for reasons beyond its control, such as force majeure, or if circumstances dictate (cancellation of artists for example and without being exhaustive).

Article 8

§1. The prizes to be won are described on the page of the website presenting the competitions www.flagey.be or by mentioning them on the document relating to the competition sent to the participants.

§2 Under no circumstances are the prizes awarded convertible into cash or alternative winnings. The prizes are personal and nominative and may not be transferred to a third party.

§3. where applicable, when the prize consists of tickets to attend the events, Flagey is released from any liability in the event of force majeure preventing the proper execution of the prize (e.g. no compensation can be requested in the event of cancellation of the event in which the winner wishes to participate).

In addition to the foregoing, the winner will be entitled to his/her prize within the limit of the places available at the chosen events, upon reservation at least 15 days in advance.

Article 9

The winner authorizes Flagey to use, free of charge, the personal contact information provided by the winner, as well as any other information given by the winner as a participant, for promotional purposes in connection with the contests as well as in connection with the announcement of the results of the contest in all media, including radio, television and the internet, in accordance with Flagey's privacy policy.

Article 10

All personal data (name, address and telephone number of the participants) in accordance with the European regulation 2016/679 and the law of 30/07/2018 are kept by Flagey for the sole purpose of running the competition. The data will be recorded in Flagey's files and are intended for internal use. In accordance with the relevant legislation, the participant may at any time obtain free access to the personal data concerning him/her and obtain the rectification of any inaccurate, incomplete or irrelevant data by sending a letter to the address of FLAGEY or by sending an e-mail to the following address: privacy@flagey.be.

The data controller is FLAGEY ASBL.

Article 11

Any dispute or complaint relating to the competitions should be sent by registered letter to Flagey ASBL, rue du Belvédère 27/5 in 1050 Ixelles.

Flagey undertakes to reply as quickly as possible.
