Wedaa ya Bonaparte

During an expedition into Egypt, General Caffarelli, a humanist scholar, becomes friends with two Arab brothers. At the same time, the resistance movement against Bonaparte (played by a fearless Chéreau) grows, with the supposed liberator ending up as nothing more than another in a long line of conquerors.
