Lights in the dusk

A night watchman listlessly guards a jewellery store in one of the wealthy neighbourhoods created by the Finnish economic miracle. A manipulative woman, working for an unscrupulous criminal gang, sets to work on him. Under the guise of an homage to Charlot, one of the filmmakers most sombre works, extending fatality right down to the gutter.
