Melancholia

As a funeral elegy structured in the form of an opera on the end of the world, Melancholia makes use of the Dogme 95 dynamic so dear to Lars von Trier, reconciling it with science fiction and disaster film. This is the disillusioned approach that the Dane adopts and in turn applies to this new form of melancholic poetry.
