Niklas Paschburg

Hamburg-born pianist and composer Niklas Paschburg presents his new EP L’Écho de Bretagne in an intimate solo piano concert at Flagey. Paschburg blends classical piano with ambient synths to create a meditative, reflective sound, reminiscent of Nils Frahm, Ólafur Arnalds and Max Richter. He gained international recognition with albums such as Oceanic, Svalbard and Panta Rhei, performed in concert halls and at festivals across Europe, and collaborated with artists including Ásgeir, RY X and Dobrawa Czocher. “It will be cosy and intimate… a very simple set-up, but full of little surprises,” he says about his music.
