Plamena Mangova

Since winning second prize at the Queen Elisabeth Competition in 2007, pianist Plamena Mangova has been recognized as one of the most refined musical voices of her generation. She returns to Flagey Piano Days with a recital where Chopin, Liszt, Bartók, De Falla, Albéniz and Ginastera meet. About an almost identical programme at the Théâtre des Champs-Élysées, the press wrote: “It is rare to feel a truly emotional shock when listening to an artist… admirable technique, a wonderful balance, and a perfect reading of polyphony… The audience knew it was witnessing a great musician.”
