Cellist Aleksey Shadrin is by now a welcome guest at Flagey. The Ukrainian musician, 4th prize winner of the Queen Elisabeth Competition 2022 and a member of the Flagency program, once again confirms his status as one of the great talents of his generation. On his cello, he brings a sparkling program featuring Beethoven’s virtuosic variations, Stravinsky’s colorful Suite italienne, and Brahms’ lyrical Sonata in D. Thanks to Flagency – Flagey and BNP Paribas Fortis’s platform for young talent – this young musician is given every opportunity to further build his career.
