Le pouvoir d’oublier, ou, pour m’exprimer en savante, la faculté de sentir (The power to forget or, as clever falk would say, the ability to feel) is a performance inspired by a filmed laboratory experience from over 50 years ago. A conversation is transformed from an oral experience into a written one, Annabelle Milon reconstructs, in the time and space of performance, a new structure of language. In the form of video projections, words appear as subtitles. They ask questions of the body and the physiological circuits of communication. For example, in reducing words into a simple line on a screen. The feelings themselves are reconstructed and create a new means of transfer and incarnation.
