Koyaanisqatsi

On the basis of the three Hopi prophecies, human life, our cities, and the influence of nature, is seen from above like a giant ants nest with its incredible ambition. With focus on images (Ron Fricke), without voice off, the film uses a collection of simple techniques (tilted framing, extreme slow motion or speeded up shots) to disorientate the audience. It is a work of art that has many layers, beautifully abstract, frenetic in its modernity with a visionary critique of the errors made. As well as the incredible soundtrack of Philip Glass.
