GribouJazz
Junior 3+
How do you explain jazz to children? With drawings, of course! In GribouJazz, four leading musicians from the Belgian jazz scene make jazz both understandable and captivating for young ears. On the screen, colorful figures appear: a double bass with little legs walking (walking bass), a drumming spider that swings, a saxophone that sings. Meanwhile, the quartet playfully explains what melody, harmony, and improvisation mean – and how jazz really works. A cheerful and clever concert full of groove, imagery, and imagination, in which Thomas Champagne and his colleagues let young and old discover the magic of jazz.
