Laurie Torres

Canadian musician and composer Laurie Torres, raised in a Haitian family in Montréal, journeyed from classical piano lessons and jazz ensembles to drums, hip-hop and post-rock. In demand as a touring musician with artists such as Julia Jacklin and Pomme, she has performed worldwide. With her debut album Après Coup (2025), she firmly asserts her own voice.
