Kris Verdonck (°1974) is a theatre maker and visual artist. He studied visuals arts, architecture and theatre. His creations are located in the transit zone between visual arts and theatre, between installation and performance, between danse and architecture. Kris Verdonck realized number of projects, such as, recently, TALK and EXIT (2011), EXHIBITION #1 (2011, a retrospective of his work in Z33 Hasselt), M., a Reflection (inspired by Heiner Müller, 2012) and H, an incident (inspired by Danill Harms (Kunstenfestival, 2013). Kris Verdonck is currently working on ISOS, inspired by the work of J.G. Ballard et on Untitled, a dance solo in collaboration with Marc Iglesias Figueras. Kris Verdonck is one of the most defiant performing artists of the contemporary scene.
