Donder in the dark

Don’t expect a traditional concert from Donder, the trio of double bassist Stan Callewaert, pianist Harrison Steingueldoir and drummer Casper Van De Velde. During this lying concert, the audience reclines on mats and cushions in a dimly lit space. The darkness sharpens every tiny detail: every breath, every movement, and every sound in and around the room becomes perceptible. Combined with Donder’s cinematic soundscapes and the innovative accordion of guest musician Suzan Peeters, and a collective trance emerges, drawing everything and everyone into the music.
