Under The Reefs Orchestra

The Brussels-based instrumental power trio Under The Reefs Orchestra operates at the intersection of experimental jazz and post-rock. Guitarist and composer Clément Nourry, known as a musical partner of Yokaï and Nicolas Michaux, is joined by saxophonist Marti Melia (Flat Earth Society) and drummer Jakob Warmenbol (Don Kapot). Ambition shines through their name: as a trio, they strive for a grand and layered sound to live up to the name “orchestra.” In the spirit of visionary artists such as Moondog and Morphine, the trio invites you to leap into the unknown, crafting a sound greater than the sum of its parts.
