Cologne, 1975. Vera Brandes, a teenager, starts producing and promoting music concerts at an early age. A major concert by jazz pianist Keith Jarrett is planned, but due to a never-ending series of unforeseen problems, things don't go according to plan. Yet Vera continues to believe in the power of music and does everything in her power to ensure that the greatest solo concert in the history of jazz music takes place.
