Anthem For Dissatisfaction
Irish Twins Sarah and Jamie are about to hit 30. Facing a whole new cost of living crisis when they never escaped the first one. The two siblings retrace their history and what it meant to grow up on benefits in 2010s Northern Ireland, spurred on by the soundtrack of their lives and the artists who solidified their relationship. A soundtrack packed with Oasis, Springsteen and Sam Fender in this euphoric, working-class celebration of the power of live music, teenage angst, sibling rivalry and love. An electric and hilarious, coming-of-age anthem for anyone who ever wanted more. Winner of the Solas Nua Award at the Dublin Fringe Festival 2024 and at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2025.
A new play written by Gina Donnelly & Directed by Tony Devlin & Gina Donnelly, starring Emily Lamey and Simon Sweeney. A celebration of the songs, and people, that punch you in the gut and get you through! Anthem for Dissatisfaction is heartbreaking, healing, and affirming.
