Paris during the 1970s. Six-year-old Jean has started back to school and has already found some new pals. He'd like to tell his mom, but she's never around. He finally receives a postcard where she tells him about her adventures in America with the cow-boys and Indians. Another time, she's in Africa or on top of Mount Kilimanjaro. And for Jean life goes on, between his dad, his nanny and his little brother...
