Chiba Prefecture, Japan, Bōsō Peninsula. A huge, unidentified plant from outer space has spread its roots across the entire region. Its electromagnetic waves and concentrated gases are wreaking havoc and causing massive environmental damage. Volunteers have been randomly selected to help with the reconstruction effort.
