Mozart Prelude

Every year in March, the soloists of the Queen Elisabeth Music Chapel join up with the Royal Wallonia Orchestra for the Mozart Prelude concert. The 2012 edition will feature two violin concertos, and the first cello concerto by Mozart’s friend Haydn. The latter’s score was rediscovered in 1961. Soloists include the youthful Esther Yoo, third prize at Sibelius 2010, Adam Krzeszowiec, laureate of the Tchaikovsky Competition in Moscow, and multi-prize winner Jolente De Maeyer. Effervescent soprano Julie Mossay will evoke the contradictory emotions in the Mozart aria, Voi avete un cor fedele.
