Music Chapel Festival : Beethoven
The Queen of the Piano shares the stage with two of the Queen Elisabeth Music Chapel’s young resident musicians, Messrs Fleszar and Yoon, from Poland and Korea respectively. They will play two of Beethoven’s sonatas for piano and cello - the first important works for this combination - with the cello having shaken off its role as continuo to become a full soloist.
